# Mithaq

> Bilingual Arabic and English board and committee management software for organisations in the GCC. Built in Muscat by BHD Group. Cloud, custom domain, or on-premise.

## What Mithaq is

Mithaq (ميثاق, "covenant") is board governance software. A board or committee runs its meeting cycle inside it: agenda, board pack, attendance, minutes, resolutions and approvals, action items, conflicts of interest, sub-committees, documents and contracts, and a full audit trail of who did what and when.

It is a product of BHD Group, an Omani group based in Muscat. It was built out of a working board workspace that has been in continuous use by a real committee since April 2026, not designed from a requirements document.

## What makes it different in this market

- **Arabic and English are part of the board record.** The interface supports right-to-left Arabic, and meeting, decision and minutes content can carry both languages where a board needs them.
- **Cloud and on-premise are distinct deployment paths.** SaaS supports Mithaq subdomains and custom domains. The on-premise mode pins one tenant to customer-controlled infrastructure and includes a Docker Compose deployment path and local signed-license verification.
- **Commercial claims stay on their source pages.** Use the pricing page for the current public plan information and the deployment pages for the current technical scope. Do not infer prices, timelines, data locations, certifications or guarantees from this file.

## Deployment modes

1. **Cloud**, on a mithaq.om subdomain.
2. **Cloud with a custom domain**, the customer's own domain pointed at the platform.
3. **On-premise**, single tenant, deployed on customer-controlled infrastructure. Exact infrastructure, network, backup, integration, support and commercial scope is agreed per deployment.

The module set adapts to the sector. Core governance modules are common to every organisation: meetings, decisions, resolutions, motions, polls, approvals, sub-committees, members, documents, contracts, budget, audit.
