A Muscat print shop that ships software, because we had to.
Mithaq is built by BHD Printing & Designing. We started with print contracts for Omani federations and sovereign clients, kept getting the same complaint about how their boards ran, and built the thing they kept asking for. OFC ran on it first. The rest of you are next.
Mission
Make the bureaucracy that boards depend on disappear into the background, meeting prep, votes, minutes, signatures, member follow-up, so the board can spend its time on the decisions that actually matter for the organisation it serves.
Price in Omani currency. Support Arabic and English workflows where the published product pages specify them. Offer hosted and single-tenant on-premise paths, with selected public APIs for portable published data.
The team building Mithaq
Founder and CEO of BHD Printing & Designing (Bin Haider Darwish LLC), Muscat. Head of Strategic Planning at ITHCA Group, under the Oman Investment Authority. Mithaq grew from BHD's work with organisations that needed a more coherent path from board records to published institutional output.
Day to day, he works across software, strategy and the print operation. The product is maintained alongside the other BHD Group digital services.
Why a print shop?
Because we sit at the seam between the institution and the thing the institution actually hands to its members. We print the Annual Report a board signs off on. We print the certificates the federation hands out. We print the policy book the new committee chair reads on day one. Every one of those is the output of a board process that was usually run on WhatsApp, paper, and a shared inbox that nobody owned.
Mithaq is the digital scaffolding under that output. We started building it for BHD's own operating context and the Oman Fencing Committee implementation, then shaped it for boards that need meetings, decisions, actions and public records to remain connected.
BHD Group brands Mithaq sits next to
Mithaq is one of BHD Group's operating brands. Each service has its own public scope, while shared engineering and operations are used where appropriate.
How we work
Publish the record
The public changelog at mithaq.om/changelog provides a checkable record of product changes.
Use the implementation
OFC and Mithaq share the same application codebase. Host-isolation and public-site regression checks run as part of the release process.
Configure each deployment
Payment, email, AI and notification providers are enabled only when the relevant deployment has valid credentials and an approved operating design.
Offer deployment choice
The hosted path currently uses EU infrastructure with Cloudflare delivery. The on-premise path runs on customer-controlled infrastructure, with outbound dependencies defined during implementation.
