What is Mithaq Cloud?
Mithaq Cloud is the hosted SaaS mode of the board platform. An organisation can use a tenant workspace on a mithaq.om subdomain or connect a custom domain. Organisations that require the application on infrastructure they control can evaluate the separate single-tenant on-premise mode.
Hosted tenant workspace
The SaaS mode resolves tenant workspaces through Mithaq’s cloud root and supports customer domains in the same hosted mode. The board uses the same bilingual meeting and governance records described across the product pages.

Confirm the operating requirements
A cloud evaluation should confirm the data location, access model, backup responsibility, support scope and any external services required by the selected configuration. Those details belong in the proposal and contract, not in an assumed website promise.
- Document where the contracted environment stores data.
- Identify which party operates backups and recovery.
- List identity, email, messaging and AI dependencies in scope.
Cloud or on-premise?
Choose cloud when the organisation wants Mithaq operated as a hosted service. Evaluate on-premise when infrastructure control is a governing requirement. The decision should follow written data and operating requirements, not a generic label such as sovereign or secure.

Common evaluation questions
Can Mithaq Cloud use our organisation’s domain?
The SaaS deployment model includes a custom-domain route in addition to Mithaq subdomains. Domain, DNS and certificate responsibilities should be confirmed for the specific engagement.
Does a custom domain mean the platform is on-premise?
No. A custom domain can still point to Mithaq’s hosted SaaS mode. On-premise is a separate deployment mode on infrastructure controlled by the customer.
Is cloud data always stored in Oman?
Do not infer data location from the product name or domain. The contracted environment’s data location and any subprocessors should be confirmed in the proposal and data-processing terms for that engagement.
